“I have wanted to write to you both to thank you for the absolutely wonderful job you did with my daughter’s room in her little apartment. When I saw her room, I could not fathom how all of her things were going to fit into that itty-bitty room; with NO closet! When I wandered down to your shop, I was immediately impressed with all of the furniture pieces, mirrors, and little objects of desire. Erika, when I asked you to help me a little in putting the pieces together, you not only jumped right in, but you grabbed your measuring tape and we were off to the apartment to get ideas! I know that our daughter was at first a little apprehensive to have this “designer” in her room, but you made her and me feel so comfortable. It didn’t take her long to jump onto the bandwagon, and with your amazing help and phenomenal design eye; Kiira’s room was transformed into an adorable enclave that was the envy of her apartment mates. You were so helpful and it was such a pleasure to work with you and your husband. In four short hours, we had te furniture in her room, the items hung on the wall and all of Kiira’s “stuff” neatly and creatively put away. She loves her room, and I only wish that we lived closer to you so that you could help me with some projects here in Connecticut. I look forward to our visits to Colgate, and one of the main highlights is to visit your adorable shop . Hope to see you when we return to Colgate.”
